What is EMSculpt NEO?
EMSculpt NEO is the first and only non-invasive body shaping procedure that provides simultaneous fat elimination and muscle building in a combined 30-minute session. It combines two innovative technologies, utilizing both heat and electromagnetic stimulation to create impressive results.
How it works
EMSculpt NEO is based on an applicator simultaneously emitting synchronized RF and HIFEN+ energies.
Due to the radiofrequency heating, the muscle temperature quickly raises by several degrees. This prepares muscles for exposure to stress, similar to what a warmup activity does before any workout. In less than 4 minutes, the temperature in subcutaneous fat reaches a level that causes apoptosis, i.e. fat cells are permanently damaged and slowly removed from the body. Clinical studies showed on average a 30% reduction in subcutaneous fat.*
Bypassing the brain limitation, HIFEM+ energy contracts the muscle fibers in the area at intensities that are not achievable during voluntary workout. Extreme stress forces the muscle to adapt resulting in an increase in the number and growth of muscle fibers and cells. Clinical studies* showed on average a 25% growth in muscle volume.
Your consultation
During your consultation, a physical examination of your target areas will be conducted. You will be asked about your weight and lifestyle. A review of your medical history will be undertaken, including any underlying conditions, current medications, and past surgeries. A treatment plan will be developed to specifically address your concerns.
The EMSculpt NEO procedure
Each EMSculpt NEO treatment only takes 30 minutes. Your procedure will not require any form of anesthetic. Photographs will be taken for before-and-after comparison.
The EMSculpt NEO applicator will be applied directly onto the target area. Patients will experience strong muscle contractions, but this should be tolerable in terms of intensity. Expect a heating sensation as well. If you feel any discomfort, the settings may be adjusted accordingly.
What is the downtime?
EMSculpt NEO is a non-invasive treatment that requires no pre or post treatment preparation or recovery. You can resume your normal activities right after your treatment!
Am I a candidate for EMSculpt NEO?
Almost everyone with a BMI of up to 35 is a candidate for EMSculpt NEO! It is important that you are in good overall health and within 15 to 30 pounds of your ideal weight.
If you are pregnant or nursing, you are not advised to undergo this procedure. EMSculpt NEO is also not recommended for patients with metal or electronic implants near the target areas.
When can I expect results after my EMSculpt NEO procedure?
You can begin to feel tangible results right after the treatment which increase with each consecutive session. Positive results are usually two to four weeks after the last session and continue to improve for several weeks, with maximum results peaking about 3 months after your initial series of 4 treatments.
