Botox

When will I see results from Botox?

You may begin to notice results within 24 to 48 hours for moderate to severe frown lines, with results lasting up to 4 months.

How long is the recovery time after Botox treatment?

After your treatment, you can resume your day. There is minimal downtime and your provider may give you specific aftercare instructions.

Does Botox Cosmetic treatment hurt?

Some patients report that being injected with Botox Cosmetic feels like a pinch. Your provider may use ice to numb the treatment area. If you are concerned about discomfort, your provider may apply a topical numbing cream before administering your treatment.

Will Botox make me look like I’ve had work done?

Botox Cosmetic is a technique-sensitive treatment. You should not lose the ability to show expression when you are treated by someone who is licensed, trained, and a medical expert in facial anatomy. It is important to talk to your provider about the results you want from treatment.

How long does Botox last?

3-4 months.

CoolSculpting

What happens if I gain weight down the road?

Many people, after seeing the results from their CoolSculpting procedure, take even better care of themselves. However, if you do gain weight, you may gain it evenly all over your body, not just in the treated areas.

Do I need to take special supplements or follow a strict diet and exercise program?

No supplements or pills are required and you do not have to adopt new diet and exercise habits. Many patients feel more motivated to take care of themselves after their CoolSculpting treatment. It is as if they get a second lease on their body and want to start anew again by taking even better care of themselves.

When will I see results?

You may start to see changes as quickly as three weeks after your treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after two months. But your body will still flush out fat cells and continues doing so for up to four to six months after treatment.

Can I return to normal activities after my treatment?

Yes, you can. The CoolSculpting procedure is completely non-surgical, so typically you can return to normal activities immediately. Some patients experience redness, minor bruising, tingling, numbness or discomfort in the treated area, but this is temporary and will resolve completely. Often times, patients return to work after their CoolSculpting session is over.

Are there any side effects?

During the procedure you may experience deep pulling, tugging, pinching, numbness or discomfort. Following the procedure, typical side effects include temporary numbness, redness, swelling, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging and pain. Rare side effects may also occur. The CoolSculpting procedure is not for everyone. You should not have the CoolSculpting procedure if you suffer from cryoglobulinemia, paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria, or cold agglutinin disease. The CoolSculpting procedure is not a treatment for obesity. As with any medical procedure, ask your physician if the CoolSculpting procedure is right for you.

Is CoolSculpting safe?

In the USA, the CoolSculpting procedure is FDA-cleared for the treatment of visible fat bulges in the submental area, thigh, abdomen, and flank. As the #1 non-invasive fat reduction procedure and with millions of CoolSculpting procedures performed worldwide, it is proven to be a safe and effective treatment.

What does it feel like?

As the cooling begins during the first few minutes, you will feel pressure and intense cold. This soon dissipates. Many people read, watch videos, work on their laptop, or even take a nap during their treatment.

Where does the fat go?

Once the treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), they die and are naturally processed and eliminated from the body. Once the treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good.

How long is each session? How many sessions will I need?

Tula Wellness will help you create an individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific goals. The length of your CoolSculpting session will vary depending on the number of areas being treated during one visit. You and your provider may schedule additional sessions in order to meet your goals. Many people read, check email, or even take a nap during their sessions.

How much does CoolSculpting cost?

The price for CoolSculpting procedures varies depending on your areas of concern, the number of sessions needed, and your ultimate goals. Create a customized treatment plan that’s tailored to your body, your goals, and your budget.

Am I a good candidate?

The CoolSculpting fat reduction procedure is specially designed for those who have unwanted fat that resists diet and exercise. Unlike gastric bypass surgery, the CoolSculpting procedure is not a weight loss solution for people who are obese. It is, however, a non-surgical alternative to liposuction. Good candidates have noticeable bulges in certain areas, including under the chin, they’d like to get rid of. Request a one-on-one consultation to determine if the CoolSculpting procedure is right for you.

How long do the Coolsculpting results last?

Once the treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), they die and are naturally processed and eliminated from the body. Once the treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good.

Is CoolSculpting Right for Me?

Whether male or female and regardless of your age, you’re considered a good candidate for CoolSculpting if:

  • You’re within a few pounds of your ideal weight range and can “pinch an inch” (or two)
  • You have noticeable fat bulges in the abdominal area, such as the lower abdomen (fat that sits above the waistline) and sides (love handle area)
  • You do not suffer from the circulatory disorder known as Raynaud’s syndrome
  • You’re not expecting instant results (it takes two months for full results)
  • You’re willing to maintain your current weight and continue with exercise and a healthy diet

What is the downtime after the Coolsculpting procedure?

The CoolSculpting procedure is completely non-surgical, so typically you can return to normal activities immediately. Some patients experience redness, minor bruising, tingling, numbness or discomfort in the treated area, but this is temporary and will resolve completely. Often times, patients return to work after their CoolSculpting session is over.

MicroPen

What does the MicroPen™ help?

At TULA WELLNESS we use the Eclipse MicroPen™ to treat a wide range of conditions:

  • Fine lines and moderate wrinkles
  • Scars from acne, surgery or injury
  • Uneven skin tone or texture
  • Stretch marks
  • Premature aging from sun exposure
  • Skin laxity
  • Actinic keratoses (thick or scaly patches; potentially pre-cancerous)
  • Enlarged pores

We can use The Eclipse MicroPen™ to enhance the skin on the face, neck, décolletage, back, abdomen, arms, hands and legs.

What can I expect at my MicroPen treatment?

A sterile needle-tip containing 12 tiny micro-needles is attached to the Eclipse MicroPen. Your skincare professional will apply a thin layer of topical gel to your skin and select the appropriate treatment depth based on your unique needs. Next, in a single motion, the pen is gently pressed against the skin while simultaneously gliding in one direction until the entire treatment area has been covered. Treatment time depends on the size of the treatment area and usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes.

Is there downtime after MicroPen™ treatments?

There is no downtime to recover from the procedure, but the treatment will result in redness that resembles a raspberry or scrape. The redness may take anywhere from 24 hours to 4 days to go away. If you receive treatment in an area that you cannot easily conceal, you may want to allow time for the treatment site to heal.

When can I expect to see result from my MicroPen™ treatment?

Visible improvements to the treated area begin to appear over 2 to 3 weeks. Continued improvement may continue for up to 6 months following treatment.

How many MicroPen™ treatments will I need?

Some patients only require 1 treatment each year. For optimal results, we usually perform 2 to 3 treatments at intervals of 2 to 4 weeks. More severe or advanced conditions, such as scars or deeper wrinkles, can require up to 8 sessions spaced anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks apart.

ThermiSmooth

Who can benefit from ThermiSmooth?

Depending on your concerns, ThermiSmooth or ThermiLift (ThermiTight) may benefit. In general, patients looking for skin tightening around the eyes a mouth area will benefit. To find out if ThermiSmooth™ is right for you, a consultation with our aesthetician will be necessary.

What can I expect at a ThermiSMooth treatment?

A small amount of gel is first applied to the area of skin’s surface in the treatment area. A specific target temperature is set and the hand piece is moved across the treatment area gently in a sweeping or circular pattern. The system will automatically adjust the temperature of the device based on feedback from the patient’s skin. A small zone is treated for about 5 minutes to achieve the goal of sustained heating to the target tissues. Treatments are repeated several times to achieve the desired cosmetic result.

ThermiLift (ThermiTight)

How long does it take?

It takes 1-2 hours in length.

Does it hurt?

Because ThermiRF uses local anesthetic, some patients experience minimal discomfort during the injection of the numbing agent. After the area is numbed, however, there is little-to-no discomfort. Patients may feel pressure or warmth, but not pain. Swelling and bruising is likely; adhering to aftercare instructions will minimize these effects.

What is the downtime and what are the side effects?

Patients may experience slight swelling and redness and are usually able to return to normal activity within 24 hours.

How long do the results last?

The effects have been shown to last several years.

How long before a patient sees results?

Results are immediate and improve over time.

How long does the ThermiLift (ThermiTight) procedure take?

The entire procedure is typically done in less than an hour depending on the protocol and the treatment zone.

How does ThermiLift (ThermiTight) work?

What are the target area for ThermiLift (ThermiTight)?

ThermiLift (ThermiTight) is great for problem areas of the face, neck, tummy, arms, thighs and other tissues (i.e. bra fat, love handles).

Who is the typical patient for ThermiLift (ThermiTight)?

ThermiLift (ThermiTight) is ideal for patients who want more results than non-invasive procedures can deliver and DO NOT want surgery.
